Crispy Honey Crunch Cereal



I love using my Electric Grain Mill to make all kinds of healthy foods. One of my favorites is this Crispy Honey Crunch Cereal.

See how this Honey Crunch Cereal can really satisfy your breakfast craving. Made from white bean flour and wheat flour, a touch of honey, and cinnamon, you'll find these are the perfect companion to yogurt and fruit.

I like to store my cereal in these clever CLICK n FLIP containers, also convenient for my granola and waffle mix. The flip top lid makes for easy access, and staying organized in the kitchen is key for me!


Crispy Honey Crunch Cereal


2 ½ c. whole wheat flour
½ tsp. salt
½ c. white bean flour
¼ tsp. ginger
½ c. dry milk powder
¼ cup melted honey
½ c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
6 Tbsp. water
1-2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Meanwhile, melt the brown sugar, water, honey and vanilla over the stovetop. Drizzle the liquid ingredients over the dry ingredients, and mix well until all is coated evenly. Crumble in your hands over a cookie sheet. NO NOT MAKE A DOUGH. Should resemble large grape nuts. Spread evenly on a large baking sheet and bake at 325 for 15-20 minutes or until golden and dry. When cooled, pulse the chunks in a blender until the desired size is achieved. Store in a container in the pantry. Serve with yogurt and fruit or with ice cream!
