Anitra's Chocolate Chip Cookies:
2 sticks butter, chilled
3/4 cups brown sugar
3/4 cups white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter with the sugars until smooth. Add the vanilla
and eggs, and continue to whip on high speed until light and fluffy. Add baking soda,
salt, and all the flour and chocolate chips at once, only stirring for 8 seconds until incorporated.
Form your golf-size dough balls, and press on the tortilla press between 2 pieces of
parchment paper. Place flattened dough onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake
in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and
allow to cool. Enjoy them right away, or wrap each one tightly in saran wrap and store
for later. If freezing the cookies, place wrapped cookies inside a freeze lock bag for extra
